What is Match FightInfo? A free platform for searching sports events and creating brackets.

Match FightInfo is a free platform that allows athletes, coaches, gyms, associations, and tournament organizers worldwide to easily access and manage all the necessary information and brackets for sporting events.

Match FightInfo began with combat sports and martial arts such as boxing, kickboxing, jiu-jitsu, MMA, Muay Thai, and taekwondo. It also covers marathon and various strength and endurance sports in which combat athletes participate to improve their fitness and competitive performance.

Sports expanding gradually from combat sports and martial arts to marathon

The boundaries of sports are not fixed. Athletes often combine combat sports training with running, strength training, and endurance events, and gyms and clubs frequently participate in events for multiple sports.

Match FightInfo will not remain limited to the sports it currently offers. It plans to expand gradually into new sports categories based on the actual needs of users and organizers. Its supported countries and regions will grow in the same way so that more users can find competitions based on their language and country.

Find competitions by country and sport.

You can view ongoing and completed events, and search for specific events based on criteria such as country, sport, event name, organizing body, and location.

A competition detail page may include the competition schedule, registration period, venue, organizing body, eligible participants, original source, and other registered information. A venue or registration period may be blank when the organizer has not disclosed it, so participants should also check the latest announcement from the official source before entering.

Create brackets suited to your purpose

You can create a general-purpose bracket by entering an athlete list and weight classes without registering a competition. If you have registered a competition yourself, you can add a bracket to it and manage the bracket together with the competition information.

Depending on how the event is run, you can choose standalone single bouts, a mixed single-bout and tournament format that includes three-person mini-tournaments for an odd number of athletes, or a standard tournament in which all athletes compete to determine the final winner.

Athletes can be entered directly on screen or registered in bulk with an Excel file. A sample Excel template tailored to the configured division, gender, and weight classes is also available.

Management features that assist with match pairing

  • Configure divisions, genders, and weight classes, and classify athletes
  • Distribute athletes from the same gym so they do not meet in the early rounds
  • Create match pairings that consider the configured differences in age and bout records
  • Identify unmatched athletes and athletes in weight classes without an opponent
  • Modify the bout order and athlete placement
  • Share and print brackets, and configure their visibility

Visibility and athlete information

The standard bracket generator allows users to directly select the visibility level – private, link-only, or public – for each bracket. When set to "public," the bracket will appear on the "Free Match" page of the Match FightInfo website, while "link-only" visibility means that only the person who receives the link can view it.

The creator can also choose whether to display athlete details such as date of birth, weight, and height. Before sharing externally, the creator must check that unnecessary personal information and information about minors are not exposed.

New competition alerts and the mobile app

In the Match FightInfo app, users can receive alerts about newly published competitions based on their selected country and region. The app is available as a free download from Google Play.

Connections for associations and organizers

Associations and organizations that run competitions regularly can use a dedicated association site to combine competition announcements, member guidance, and bracket operations into one workflow. Competition information from a connected association site is made available through Match FightInfo so participants can find it more easily.

All services are provided free of charge

Competition searches, competition registration, bracket creation and sharing, publication on Free Match, app alerts, and association connections currently provided by Match FightInfo are all available free of charge.

The service is built on the principle that participants and recreational sports enthusiasts should be able to find competitions without a financial burden, while small gyms and organizers should also be able to share the information they need and operate brackets.

The environment Match FightInfo aims to create

Competition information is often scattered across association websites, social media posts, and gym announcements. When a registration period or venue changes or a bracket is shared separately, participants may have difficulty finding the latest information.

Match FightInfo aims to organize scattered information by country and sport and simplify the process from searching for a competition and reviewing its details to creating and sharing brackets.

If you are looking for a competition to enter or need to create a bracket yourself, you can get started free of charge on Match FightInfo.
